Recently, a digital technology delegation of about 30 representatives, including members from the Ministry of Commerce Training Center, Shenzhen Software Industry Association, Nicaragua’s Power Transmission and Transformation Company, Nicaragua’s Telecommunications Bureau, Nicaragua’s Vocational Training Agency, and Nicaragua University Alliance, visited CYG SUNRI Co., Ltd. (referred to as CYG SUNRI), a subsidiary of Changyuan Technology Group Ltd. at its headquarters in Shenzhen for a visit and exchange.
The Nicaraguan delegation toured CYG SUNRI’s exhibition hall, where they gained a comprehensive understanding of the company’s profile, development history, overseas industrial layout, product portfolio, and solutions. The delegation members showed great interest in various solutions displayed by CYG SUNRI, such as power grid protection, control and automation systems, prefabricated substation modules, integrated substation automation, smart operation and inspection systems, distribution automation, energy storage and charging systems, and renewable energy solutions for solar and wind power.
Following the tour, the delegation engaged in discussions with CYG SUNRI. Mr. Ding Xiaosong, Vice General Manager of CYG SUNRI and General Manager of the International Marketing Center, attended and chaired the meeting. Mr. Ding warmly welcomed the delegation and provided a detailed introduction to CYG SUNRI’s global business scale and development plans.
Mr. Ding highlighted that CYG SUNRI has been committed to the design and development of products and solutions across all areas of the power grid, including generation, transmission, substation, distribution, and consumption. Currently, over 30,000 substations worldwide utilize CYG SUNRI's solutions. In the renewable energy sector, CYG SUNRI also provides mature products and solutions for renewable energy generation, charging, storage, and related technological applications, with extensive international project experience. He expressed hope that CYG SUNRI’s products and operational expertise could offer valuable insights for Nicaragua’s energy and power sectors and looked forward to this exchange fostering future cooperation between the two parties.
During the technical exchange, both sides discussed various topics, including product international compatibility and communication protocols, the DMS distribution management system, Nicaragua’s electric vehicle plan, the protection and utilization of Nicaragua's clean energy, and potential cooperation in research laboratories. The delegation praised CYG SUNRI’s technological leadership and international influence, acknowledging that CYG SUNRI's expertise in achieving sustainable energy development and technological innovation could serve as a significant reference for Nicaragua’s energy reform.
This visit deepened Nicaragua’s understanding of CYG SUNRI and China’s digital and intelligent technologies, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation in energy digitization and smart development.
